Why Class 11 Accountancy goes wrong in the first three months

Here is why. Accountancy is the only subject in Class 11 with no Class 10 foundation underneath it. A student walks in having never seen a journal entry, and within four weeks the class is already posting to ledgers. If debit and credit did not land properly in week two, nothing after that can land either. The student keeps attending, keeps copying the board, and keeps failing to understand why the Trial Balance will not tally.
Then the first unit test happens, and the marks arrive as a surprise to everybody.
By the time a parent starts looking for tuition, the gap is usually two or three chapters deep. That is fixable. But it is not fixable by starting from the chapter the school is currently on, which is what most tuition classes do.

The gap gets found first
A student who never understood debit and credit will not be rescued by a lecture on Bills of Exchange. The first week is diagnostic. We read the notebook, find where the working breaks, and fix that before moving on.

Ten students, not forty
In Accountancy the mistake is never in the answer. It sits in the working, and the only way to catch it is to walk over and read what the student wrote. Nobody reads forty notebooks. Ten is the whole point.

Mock tests on their own days
Most classes test you in the last twenty minutes of a lesson. Teaching time gets eaten, and nobody writes under real conditions. Full papers here run on separate days, returned with the working marked, not just a score at the top.

NCERT first, then volume
Board questions come from NCERT, so that is where we build. TS Grewal supplies practice volume, and DK Goel steps in where its explanation is clearer. If your school follows a different book, bring it and we work from that.

CBSE and ISC kept apart
The two syllabi diverge enough that teaching them in one room shortchanges both groups. They run as separate batches, on separate evenings, each following its own board's paper pattern rather than a blended version of the two.

One teacher, every class
There is no junior faculty. Dr. Puja Shree teaches all three classes a week and checks every mock paper herself. A small team handles admissions, scheduling and messages, so teaching time is never spent answering a phone.

Why the first three classes are free — for both sides
Three demo classes, and they work both ways. Come for three classes before you pay anything. One class is not enough for anybody to judge — not you, not your child, and not me.
Most places call this a trial and run it as a sales pitch. Here it is an actual test, and it runs in both directions. Over three classes I can see how a student works, where the gap really sits, and whether the way I teach fits the way they learn. With ten seats in a batch, that judgement matters more than it would in a hall of forty.
Sometimes the fit is not there. When that happens I say so, and I tell you what I think would work better — one-to-one instead of a batch, or a different subject fixed first. I would rather say that in week one than take your fees for a year and watch nothing change.

Dr. (CS) Puja Shree Agarwal teaches every Class 11 class herself
Dr. CS Puja Shree Agarwal teaches every Class 11 Accountancy class at Edu Attack. She has been teaching since 2000.
She started the year she finished Class 12 herself, with a 24th rank in UP Board Commerce, taking evening batches in Prayagraj to pay her own graduation fees. Twenty-six years later she has taught the subject at every level it exists — Class 11 and 12, B.Com and M.Com, and up to CA Inter. Forty-four of her students have secured All India Ranks in CS and CA examinations.
That range is the reason the Class 11 batch is run the way it is. Once you have sat with a CA Inter student who cannot get through partnership accounts, you can almost always trace the problem back to something that was never fixed in Class 11. After enough of those, you stop treating the first year as the easy one.
She founded Edu Attack in Vaishali in 2013 and taught there for years before moving the centre to Vasundhara. Her law and commerce lectures on YouTube have around 35,000 subscribers, mostly CS, CMA and B.Com students working through difficult topics before an exam.

Where the Vasundhara centre is, and who travels to it

In this section, you can address common questions efficiently.
Yes. Most students who join in July or August are joining because the first unit test did not go well. We find out where the gap is, usually journal or ledger, and cover that separately while keeping up with the chapter running in school.
Ten, maximum. Above ten you cannot read every student's working, and in Accountancy the mistake only shows up in the working.
Yes, all of them. There is no separate faculty for the Class 11 Accountancy batch.
The Class 11 batch is capped at ten students and runs on its own fixed schedule, so it is not squeezed around anything else. Having taught the subject up to CA Inter is what makes the Class 11 teaching careful rather than casual — most of the trouble a CA Inter student has with accounts started in Class 11 and was never corrected.
NCERT is the base, since board questions come from there. TS Grewal for practice volume, and DK Goel where the explanation is clearer. If your school follows a different book, bring it along.
It depends where he is stuck. Most Class 11 students who struggle with Accountancy never got debit and credit properly, and everything built on top of it collapses. We go back to that before touching the current chapter. It takes a few weeks, not one class.
